Ice Berg - August 2015

This was the first iceberg ever drawn—using pure pastel, a material that hadn’t been used before. It started as a simple test, just playing with the softness and texture of the medium. But as the drawing took shape, something quiet and beautiful began to emerge. The landscape wasn’t planned—it just happened, layer by layer.

Originally, there was more to the scene than what’s visible now, but part of it ended up hidden behind the frame. What’s left feels like a glimpse, a moment caught in time—unfinished, but complete in its own way.
